    See, I thought All-Star Superman was the way to go - make a whiz-bang, Silver Age-like story. It would have made a nice counterpoint to the dark seriousness of Nolan's Batman movies.

    Man, he was terrific on Sons this season. I thought his sudden rush to rejoin the life after working so hard to get away was a bit clumsy, but I guess it fits the whole bleak arc that these guys (and women) are never going to escape that life. I think the end of Sons is going to be as dark as the end of The Shield.
