Agreed on both counts - he sounds awful, but I really don't care to hear a "Youtube star's" take on it …

Agreed - I'm not ashamed that I loved a lot of the earlier stuff; his first two or three albums are not reinventing the comedy wheel, but they are funny.
All this abortion talk … did I stumble into the GOP Debates?
Actually, this sounds like genius casting. Anyone who teaches high school can probably attest to meeting many affable, seemingly good guys who just look the other way and avoid confronting their kids on any number of issues.
While I haven't seen the show yet, from what I understand, ABC's I Hate My Teenage Daughter bravely explores many of these complex issues …
Almost as mysterious as the return of Irish Steve is the love Bohannon has somehow engendered among his men. To my knowledge, that spike that he almost drove in at the end would have been his first, yet he's treated like John Henry. What the hell has he contributed to the cause, besides yelling? Good to see that…
I do agree with the above; he gets a lifetime pass just for the line "I guess you could say I blue/blew myself" … HOWEVER, I really can't listen to Cross rail against the likes of Dane Cook, Larry the Cable Guy et al, while cashing a check for the Chipmunks. Cross as the self-appointed arbiter of what is real or…
Anyone have an idea what the name of the Franzen piece is that Craig references?
I saw them this summer at Giants Stadium. They came roaring out with four songs from Achtung, all rockers. They played for about 2 and a half hours. They're easy to make fun of, but damned if they don't put on a great show.
Hopefully there's a scene underneath Heinz Field where Batman confronts James Harrison …
Interesting column. Turn back the clock 20 years, and you had Use Your Illusion I&II, Ten, Nevermind, Badmotorfinger, Achtung Baby, Loveless, Blue Lines, Out of Time, Gish, Bloodsugarsexmagic, The Enemy Strikes Black, Low End Theory … for a myriad of reasons, that year produced many timeless albums, and many high…
Any word if K'ronikka is dropping a verse?
Seriously - even their epic collapse at the end of last season was essentially a second tier sports story, thanks to the Sox.
So it will probably be a monster hit album in 2012 … sigh …
I could not agree more. Common courtesy long since left town, so public penitence might work better. If you can't refrain from texting for a couple of hours, you deserve to be treated like a child.
Bravo's Poochie? So this dumbass will soon be returning to his home planet?
"Have you tried staples?"
Well, he is history's second most famous Jewish carpenter …
I agree with you about the "child in peril" part (The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon really comes to mind) … but I always felt that there was a subtle sadness to the story that King doesn't always do so well. Bag of Bones is up there with The Stand and Wizard and Glass as one of my favorites of King.
I thought that the one where he is stripped of his 007, and sorta goes rogue (I forget which one that was) was pretty good.
