Yeah, this is what I thought too. I didn't really think it also included the glee club, but maybe her absence suggests that it did?

Since his first episode. He introduces himself to Finn and the guys as, "Hi, I'm  Sam. I like comic books and I'm dyslexic so my grades aren't too good, but I'm working on it."

Sam, who was created by Brad Falchuk, was dyslexic yes. Is, dyslexic, I should say. They didn't really embrace this a storyline for him much though, but it did show up every now and then in smaller details throughout Sam's run on the show (in Season Two at least)

I am being serious, but I also wasn't talking about Ryan Murphy. Ryan Murphy does horribly because he's just a horrible person. I mean, look at the way Kurt's coming out was treated (came out on his own accord, to his father, who was accepting and it was a lovely moment) to Santana's. This isn't because Ryan Murphy is

If you don't like it after fifteen minutes, it's unlikely you'll like it at all. It's one of THOSE kind of episodes, either you love it, or you really hate it.

See, the thing that made this episode good for me was that the show was incredibly aware that it was being ridiculous and over the top. A lot of times, like so many Ryan Murphy shows, it is completely lacking in self-awareness, but this time it got it right, imo.

It just feels off that not once did they go, "Sam has dyslexia, too, Ryder." And have Sam interact with him. Hopefully it will happen, but given this show's spotty continuity..

The only reason the dyslexia storyline is likely not offensive is because one of the showrunners of Glee is dyslexic, so it's obviously coming from a place that's personal, researched and has weight.

Well, imagine if Jan was a guy and Clark was a girl and the scene remained virtually unchanged. You could see how it would be problematic, yes?

I wish Glee would stop with the endless homages. If I wanted to watch Grease, I would watch Grease. I'd rather see them using these songs in new, unique ways than having every scene try and a be shot for shot remake. Same goes for their Christmas episodes. The best Christmas episodes aren't the ones that are just
