I wish Glee would stop with the endless homages. If I wanted to watch Grease, I would watch Grease. I'd rather see them using these songs in new, unique ways than having every scene try and a be shot for shot remake. Same goes for their Christmas episodes. The best Christmas episodes aren't the ones that are just

Same here. Don't forget the domestic abuse storyline, too. This show is just so terrible. It wants so desperately to send good messages, yet it doesn't want to try and actually set them up and portray them realistically, making all these attempts feel like over-the-top, over-simplified PSAs.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed with how they managed Unique's thing. While it is obviously realistic for them to want Unique to not do the musical, I find Glee is only realistic when it means not letting a minority have a leading role (Kurt in West Side also comes to mind). If Glee really wants to be empowering and

So, two episodes, then? I'd like to be hopeful, but Glee has a terrible track record. Even Bieste's domestic abuse storyline was set up and resolved in two episodes.

I definitely agree with you here. The show has done little to paint Finn and Blaine as the bad guys—it's going out of its way to rewrite the history of the show to paint them as the heroes and victims! Ugh.

Well, that, or the writers have already forgotten that he believes the skinner is still at large. equally possible.

Well, to be honest, I had completely forgotten about her finding the Nazi stuff, so I found that unsubtle flashback helpful at least.

Uh, what?

I like how Mike and Mercedes can afford to just randomly miss school, fly back to their hometown and help out with a school play for a few episodes. Yeah, that seems realistic. (Almost as realistic as Rachel complaining how she can't afford clothes anymore, yet she takes a last minute flight to break up with Finn in
