I loved that 'wanna bet $10 grand' line. That was such a perfect Mr. Burns moment.

Isn't everybody a skeptic in some capacity? It'd be pretty hard to go through life believing every single thing you're told.

You can tell an episode of Bullshit is bullshit when all the "experts" they trot out come from libertarian think tanks. The global warming episode is a perfect example.

For maximum authenticity, these title screens should be viewed in brief snippets between blinks of the power light.

Hasn't this been done already? Like years ago?

It may not be possible. The mother's brain was deprived of oxygen long enough to completely die, so it's reasonable to expect serious repercussions for the developing fetus, up to & including stillbirth.

That'll show 'em.

Dammit, I hate when I run across these threads after the banhammer dropped!

I got into it when a bunch of coworkers talked me into playing after work. I got back out when I realized I'm way too stupid to be any good at it.

Little late to this party, but I liked the visuals in Prometheus. (They're about the only aspect of it I did like.) It's not that they "wowed" me or anything; it's that they came off as both believable and alien enough to be unsettling. The only FX shots that really took me out of the movie were the goofy exploding

I saw the first Hobbit movie in 3D and 48fps, and it damn near broke my brain. The murky 3D projection was bad enough, but the extra frames eliminated almost all of the motion blur, making the film look like a video game.
