I can understand that, but it actually made it more suspenseful to me. I knew Caesar wasn't going to die, so I was terrified that he would kill Gannicus, and later Agron.

It's harsh and unappealing and immoral, but if Spartacus' forces are preparing for a siege, then killing the Roman prisoners is clearly the right thing to do. And it's not like Spartacus hasn't killed innocent Romans before. 

I guess there are reasons to like Django, but realism isn't one of them.

I kept waiting for him to do the supervillain-esque "I know I ordered you to do this, but now I'll kill you for disrespecting me/my son." I was very pleased that it didn't go down that way, that he actually respected Hilarus as much as he said.

I think Liam's finally stepped out of Andy's shadow. It may be just that it's been so long since we've seen Andy as Spartacus, but I think it's a case of him really making the role his own. Good for him.
