Agree with all those, plus "Spoon" is the best track they ever released.

Will always love this album, but their followup "Stereotype A" was a HUGE leap in terms of songwriting — it was less of a "cool producer(s) lend cred to a cute novelty act" thing, and remains sadly overlooked.

The common thread running through all these shows extends to the part where they're all shitty.  That's Hanna-Barbera in a nutshell.

The deleted scenes on S4 DVDs show a whole abandoned plotline with the shady guy who helped find the stolen chairs (and had the hots for Danny) hooking up with Danny.

That's very true…but what's amazing is how very few times that happens in the course of the series.  Honestly, I can count the bad performances by anyone, guest actors included, on one hand (the worst, for me, were the husband & wife trying to incriminate each other while in custody in S4 — it's maybe a cute idea but…

Claudette and Dutch are CLOSE, I'd say.  Claudette in particular is a little bit more of a type at the beginning, the "wise black mama" who calls everyone "son".  But what an amazing character she became.  CCH Pounder (yes, here we go again) should have won multiple Emmys, rather than the one nomination she got for…

Another one nobody's mentioned is the Smashing Pumpkins song that ends the second-to-last episode of Season 5 — Lem about to go on the run — "The Killer In Me" or something like that.  Loved that bit, and I can't stand Smashing Pumpkins.

For my money, the first six seasons are the greatest sitcom of all time.  I was crushed by the huge dropoff after that — the "Racist Dawg" episode in 7 was so bad I nearly wept.
