And "Apocalypse 91" isn't in the "coming next" blurb. I swear I'm about to throw a garbage can through Sal's window.

BTW Weevil I agree on the Symbol album — it's much stronger despite the Kirstie Alley filler nonsense.

Beatles — Beatles For Sale, I guess…which I still think is great.
Prince — N.E.W.S. If that's unfair, then Lotusflower/MPLSound
Dylan — Down In The Groove (my God, it sucked to be a Dylan fan in the 80s)
Elvis Costello — The River In Reverse. Total PBS pledge drive fodder, and I say that as someone who LOVED "North"…

And you should take another listen to D&P. I was pretty disappointed (and for the first time by Prince) when it came out, but now it sounds casually brilliant. Frank Zappa could have written the passing-chord arpeggiated guitar fill in the title song.

You can be pretty sure you've hit the bottom of the barrel when fans are defending a song (or other artistic effort) by saying "it's just supposed to be FUN, not like a big, important THING, you know?" *cough*starwars*

She didn't (reprise her role, that is). Kirstie Alley's not on Gold.

Wow, people think Emancipation or Batman are Prince's WORST??? Or The Gold Experience (in the picture at the top of the page)? I can think of at least six that are so far below any of those that it's depressing to even see them on the shelf…

Having bought all of the Rykodisc re-releases (damn, that was 20 years ago…) and loved all the B-side covers of old standards etc., I was ready for KV to be the greatest album ever. It was very not.

y'all some NERDS.

@Nibbler: was that line ("what would break first") from the comics? I assume it was because a little cluster of nerds cheered and clapped at that point…which was fairly weird to the rest of the audience.
