Delta's side of the story: "Three medical professionals identified themselves on the flight in question. Only one was able to produce documentation of medical training and that is the doctor who was asked to assist the customer onboard. In addition, paramedics met the flight to assist the customer further.

You must go now…

He apparently already did it once, so he should have already fucked off.

I've never seen any Gawker writer even hint at any kind of personal distaste for that article. Many of the editors/writers that left in its aftermath didn't leave because the article was terrible, they left because they disagreed with Denton's decision to remove it. The editorial team completely fucked up (at the

Gawker/Deadspin literally posted some Fappening pictures (the Kate Upton/Justin Verlander ones) so it's not like they're above that anyway. They took them down after being threatened with legal action, but only because they obviously didn't have a leg to stand on legally.

I'm amazed at how many people are casting judgment without even bothering to read the full exchange. And freely admitting they didn't read it! "Well, I didn't read the exchange but…" Well then stop typing!

This was me, exactly, until I finally saw it in full on Monday. I loved it.

In a somewhat similar vein (beloved '80s Christmas actiony/comedic movies) I watched Gremlins for the first time the other day. It also lived up to its reputation.

I've seen it before but in my ignorance always assumed it was someone who genuinely didn't know the difference between resemble and resent. Looking it up, apparently it's a joke that goes back to vaudeville or the three stooges or something. The humor has maybe not aged that well, to me at least.

Hey hey hey, what's this fair, reasonable and intelligent comment doing here? Obviously this article has no place for any of that.

You… "resemble" a remark?

The thing is, the books, radio series, and TV all share much, much more in common with each other than they do with the movie, so I never really thought "It's supposed to be different!" was much of an excuse. Anyway, it could have been different and still been good, but it wasn't. Oh well.

Star Fox 2 for Super Nintendo was cancelled deep into its development and elements of it went into Star Fox 64, not sure if that counts. Star Fox Adventures started out as a non-Star Fox N64 game, too.

One of the species he hunts is the coyote, which I'm guessing he doesn't eat (I read an interview with him where he describes hunting coyotes and I don't recall him eating them, anyway… he justifies it by them being dicks).

I actually usually feel vaguely embarrassed playing my favorite songs for people who haven't heard them before, because rarely do they end up liking it nearly as much as me, if at all. (and my favorite music isn't especially obscure or inaccessible, but music is a very subjective thing, of course).

Of course, and it's kind of a running joke.

Hasn't every generation been saying the same thing for like 60 years? Generational gaps are greatly exaggerated, and to the extent that they aren't, new generations transform into the same old anyway.

I have a soft spot for Q104.3 as dumb as it all is. They just finished up their annual top 1043 classic rock songs of all time, always silly and pointless, but you know what? In the upper digits they actually played some cool stuff that they rarely play otherwise. Sheep, Echoes and One of These Days by Pink Floyd!

Just like various other Macs dating back to the original. It really was just "Look at the pretty color!" with a terrible mouse.
