Time to pack up your bindle and hoof it to Flavor City!

As a young adolescent who would read just about anything in SF or fantasy, I started reading the Mission Earth series. Looking back I find it odd that no adult ever stopped me from checking them out of the library.

A bigger issue is that it is still easier for a show about a white guy, racist or not, to get on air than for a show about an Asian guy or an Indian woman, etc.

Good to know about the Patriot. I liked a lot of the parts of the pilot, but it didn't quite come together for me. I'll try to watch a few episodes this weekend.
