Wasn't Perfect Strangers' final season one of the anchor shows for ABC's very short lived attempt to recreate TGIF on the weekends with "I Love Saturday Night"?

I got kind of distracted during his big dramatic scene because I had to check that he did indeed have two degrees from Yale.

Watch the show, it'll make perfect sense.

It was more about tone and behavior than his actions - the way he carried himself to casually shoot the 'roo, and the emasculating "Can't be your wife, you don't have a wife" talk he used to dress down the bloke at the empty station. The actor just exuded menace, you could feel the "I'm a powerful man" ego trip

The Australia sequence leaned pretty heavily on the ol' "Set a guy up as an unrepentant asshole just to kill them immediately without upsetting the audience too much" trope. We couldn't just see him kill an animal, we had to watch him belittle his subordinate too, so we know he REALLY has it coming!

She luckily and completely accidentally had them designed in the shape of a small Wu-Tang logo…the artist just had to fill in some blanks.

If she walks in on your auto-asphyxiation ritual and stays…she's a keeper.

Brainwave:

Robert Carlyle giving Jeremy Davies a moment to process the fact that, yes, Carlye is the traitor, he's the monster, before prompting him - "Now…Run!"

It's cool, everybody that they've let go will band together and start their own "news" network soon enough, one that skews even farther right and attracts the same (massive) audience of potential gold investors and people in the market for ED medication they don't have to talk to a doctor about.

Texas Pete Can't Be Beat.

It's all broad "This is the best" commentary and there's no substance to it. I mean, there's probably not that much different between this guy's fried chicken sandwich and the next guy's (Everybody's doing pickle juice brine, the Chik-Fil-A code has been cracked,) but even still. He puts so little effort into coming

Maddow played the Huntsman theme from "Freakazoid" on her show back when John Huntsman was…a name that was briefly in the zeitgeist. Doesn't count for much, more nostalgia than anything, but it's something.

I can't wait for this, especially because it's a Soderbergh heist film with a great cast, but especially because the setting means seeing places I probably recognize on film.

Ketchup is flat, simplistic. That sweetness has a tendency to overwhelm the other flavors (It's the same reason I don't like Tabasco sauce - it rarely compliments, it primarily subsumes.)

Of course.

Better than GotF's original double bill partner - My Neighbor Totoro?

No, but any woman who gives him lip is!

Trinity seeing the sun was a great moment…kind of undercut by how long the subsequent death scene took, though.
