What do you know about spiders?

Still in awe that the big Bond post-kill zinger they gave her was "Read this, bitch."

"Jim Carrey, Action Hero" sounds like one of those things to look for if you think you've ever crossed over to a parallel universe, along with copious amounts of blimpsrigid airships and people celebrating a recent win for those perennial underdogs, the New York Yankees.

I love Keanu but still hear Mike Nelson's "I WILL GO TO COUNT DRACULA" impression from MST3K every time I see the guy.

I somehow managed to avoid spoilers for The Matrix until it hit basic cable in late 2001 - I just knew there was a lot of slow-mo and a big shoot-out in an office lobby, and I had no idea what the actual plot was. Inconceivable in today's world.

And only the Max Payne series to any real effect.

Re: 36 - https://www.theguardian.com… Great stuff, though I have a feeling the code word is going to be changed now that The Guardian has told everybody the secret.

This is actually an elaborate laundering scheme; Nick Denton owns that hot dog stand.

The hot dog is maybe the one thing Chicago is right about, food-wise.

Wild Cards; he's always writing, but it's always Wild Cards

I read that with the dry disaffection of the old West Coast Ventriloquist from that Mr. Show skit.

I think Vol. 2 is great and objectively the better movie but Vol. 1 is much more fun to watch. Too giddy and propulsive not to be.

A byproduct of the great post-9/11 American malaise and our yearning for something more "authentic" - consumer spending plummeted, mainstream music turned toward a more stripped down sound after years of high production values, we rejected parts of the clothing that seemed extraneous.

I almost bought a Cybiko from a high school classmate circa 2001, until I realized that by buying his I would lose the one person I could message via Cybiko.
