Same, and I find the jokes about original Teen Titans fandom to be especially funny ("Return of Slade" is a top tier episode for both the cruel original TT tease at the beginning of the episode AND the evisceration of edgy reboots that follows. The harshest, albeit indirect, takedown of Bay's Transformers films…

I suspect the reasoning is something as simple and terrible as "Our audience is kids…and kids are stupid."
