I'm also amazed Sorkin unironically wrote the question, "Do you have a life philosophy that isn't based off a musical?"

I agree with the season grade, though I'd be willing to go C+. Veery uneven.

Whatever chance Walt had at redemption is done. I want what happened to Gus Fring to happen to him, except with all of his face gone.

I haven't sympathized with Walt since season one. I understand pride, but choosing to sell meth when your brother-in-law is a DEA agent and you live in a town under constant drug surveillance when people (who have good reason to give you money) kindly offered to pay for your cancer treatment is plain boneheaded.

This is probably the most telling episode of Walter's delusions, in my opinion. The whole "I'm in the empire business" is the blatant admission I have been waiting for some time.

The character of Neal is the stupidest possible straw man of "The Worst (period) generation (period) ever (period)." I don't know how a story about trolling counts as good.

Todd's move was actually quite stupid, for a lot of reasons.

The magnet heist wasn't bad in theory (i.e. the idea of remotely wiping a laptop), it was the execution that was horrible. The minute they parked their car right next to the cop station… ergh.

First of all, opening a review with a Warren Zevon lyric earns you a lot in my book. Props, Donna Bowman.

This episode was good, but it's hard to judge it by its own merits, since it's so obviously contingent on what happens in the next half. The stage set by the TMI/News of the World scandal is great, some really good scheming could come as a result of that. Pitting the network against its own anchor is probably the best
