Like the Giuseppe Zangara reference. Sorkin has clearly seen "Assassins."

"Walter White’s grand megalomaniacal system of bullshit."
To me, the "she makes stuff all about her" is misogynistic fanboy ranting, not something the show itself tries to make an issue. Skyler has done awful stuff—sleeping with Ted, the worst character on the show, for one—but she's not a selfish prig.
Hear, hear. Just because those vignettes didn't match up with what some people might have imagined them to signal doesn't mean that they're a cheat. A tease, sure, but that's the whole thing of it. Misdirection is a perfectly fine narrative device.
Some of the dialogue that's cut into has an "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"-like dry absurdity to it. I laughed tonight when Sloan and Don cut into Charlie and Will talking: "Getting to Mars isn't the problem. We know how to get to Mars, it's getting back. So here's what I'd do…"
My favorite line reading of the night came in the Moet & Chandon sketch, when JT's character says: "And to my old gym teacher who said, 'You'll never do pornos!'… why would you say that to a twelve year old?"
Barney had to do it because he's Barney. The minute Robin picked up the paper, all the different elements of the con came together in my head. The reason why is simple: I've gotten to know Barney quite well over the years. Remember The Scuba Diver in season 5? Same idea. One of HIMYM's core strengths is the rapport…

I really hope Community ends with this season. I'm definitely of the opinion that shorter story arcs make for better television; sure, some manage to pull off long-season runs and still be endearing (Even though it should have ended earlier, I will still defend what I see as eight great seasons of "Scrubs"), but if…

I second Bruiser Brody's witty comments. P4K often has a tendency to give good-but-not-great reviews to albums by bands they've showered in adoration (The King of Limbs and Centipede Hz are now the two best examples I can think of), usually after giving a sterling review to their previous LP. Whether or not this is to…

Agreed. There was not an ounce of explanation as to how or why he walked away. Giving Jesse the money doesn't signify shit other than that Jesse and Walt have always been tight, and paying him was the right thing to do. Sure, it's obvious the job wears on Walt throughout the episode, but this is the guy who made every…
