I was in a law class today when we started talking about philosophical and ethical differences between newsrooms.  He proceeded to bring up Breaking Bad, and that Walt had died in the finale.  I laughed as the whole room groaned in anger.  My teacher just did not give a shit that he spoiled it for everyone.

You're right, Gus getting half his face blown off and still being able to correct his tie was not at all mystical.

I noticed it to.  The weird thing is, just listening to Gilligan talk about the show, he's so humble and down to earth that it doesn't even sound like half of this stuff is intentional.  Of course it is, but it's the much more endearing when you realize he had a reason for all of it (and wasn't just being pretentious).

The entire show has mystical elements, why is realism to be expected now?

I'm glad to see Angie has made her way over to HIMYM.

What a wonderfully produced episode of television.

I agree, in a sense.  But this show always has a way of proving me wrong, and I could see the writers throwing those lines in their just to screw with us.

God damn you, world.  Damn you.

This film was pretty fucking fantastic.  Just about nailed everything it was trying to do.

Modern Love and Like Eating Glass will always be my favorites.  Their last few efforts haven't even sniffed that kind of quality — which really sucks.  I had them pegged for a bright future less then a few years ago.

I love Stiller.  I even like his "bad" movies (Dodgeball, Meet the Parents, The Watch)…  he plays a good straight man.

Ross is easily my least favorite character until his season four or five mental breakdown.

This show is just running around like a chicken with its head cut off.  No such thing as stability here, folks.

Maybe I'm remembering it from a biased perspective (the first few seasons of this show are among my favorites, ever) but I have a hard time thinking of an episode - of any show - that captures the feel of the characters as well as "The Dundies".

This fucking sucks.  I love the Sopranos and just got done watching it for the third time.  Gandolfini is brilliant in each and every scene he was in.  Rest in Peace, I hope you never had to see it coming.

The first four or five seasons of this show are as good as it gets.  I could go on an on about how big of an impact this show has been in my life, and even though it may sound silly, I'm just as drawn to the show now as I was when it first came out.

I always felt like "New Elliot" was kind of great.  The fact that her character is inherently dorky and even a completely new physical identity couldn't change that was something that really solidified her character.

I'm just not making my way through the season.  How in the hell is this no considered an A episode of television?

Yes!  This was the show that made me fall in love with television.  And as much as I've come to realize the mediocrity of certain spots in its run, I've never felt more connected to a group of characters.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly.
