By the fourth episode of this season, I felt like "Love" had almost totally transformed itself. I really didn't like S1 (it had enough admirable qualities that I decided to give it another go), so I'm glad I didn't give up on it.

Parks ending brings my own little personal golden age of sitcoms to a close, but damn it if it didn't bring it to a beautiful end. I'm having a hard time feeling sad when I know that so many other great shows never got to close out this well.
This is fucking dumb. As a recent graduate, it scares the shit out of me that I'm basically being forced to work for free for 2-4 years if I want to be able to stay in my field. Now people are asking you to pay them for internships?
The world fucking sucks, sometimes. RIP Robin, hope things are better for you now than they were.
Yeah. I mean, rationally, I know that they're no worse than any other network. But in the back of my mind, this is still the network that has toyed with my emotions for over a decade now, and I have a hard time letting go of the stigma I've given them.
I'm currently having trust issues with NBC. Not sure I'm going to give any of their pilots a shot until it looks like they'll be renewed.
I thought about that, too. I'd be surprised if it didn't get picked up somewhere, but I really didn't want to have to worry about this at all. The cast is talking like it's completely over, but I'm sure they know about as much as the rest of us right now.

There is actually a "peaceful" mode if I remember correctly. They'll roam around but nothing should attack you. There's also creative mode where you can basically do anything you want (including the ability to fly) without fear of being harmed.
Animal Crossing is another good one.
Have you tried Goat Simulator?
Agreed. AV Club's dislike for Coldplay matches their infatuation with Bon Iver (who I also like).
It has been a rough day, and typing in "happy" was more than enough to turn it around.
I just saw the film, and as ever, I was sort of entranced by Trier's filmmaking. That said, I adamantly disagree with his sharper perspectives on human life in just about every one of his films, including Nymphomaniac. It sort of plays with the idea that all men (in this particular film, at least) are looking to…
Well I certainly understand the reservations people will have about the ending as an episode of television. I didn't think it functioned all that well as an episode of TV (didn't think it was all that funny, and the ending felt a wee bit rushed), but I'm okay with the overall idea. People in life die (the mother),…
I loved the ending. I think people don't like things that deviate very far from the norm (ask The Sopranos), but I like when a show makes a gusty decision to do something their viewers aren't necessarily going to feel comfortable with.
Point being that there are more effective ways of measuring your health. I get that BMI isn't terrible, but why eat McDonalds when Outback is right down the road?
So why not just use a more efficient method where outliers are more rare?
Because anyone who does a lick of lifting is going to be categorized as overweight. There are better ways of measuring health, like body fat %. I'm 6'2 and weigh 190 points. I'm on the brink of being considered overweight according to BMI.
So in a nutshell… Sara Goldfarb, one of the broken and hopeless characters to ever grace a screen, is an accurate representation of someone who is overweight? Not sure I follow, AV Club.
