"Oh, THAT quadruple homicide."

I liked "The Cotton Club". Has that been covered on My Year of Flops?

Where can I find season 2? Has it been produced yet?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Totally hilarious.

He looked better as a zombie. How is it possible to look better as a zombie?

I liked her in She-Devil, particularly the final book-signing scene.

I thought Streep had a hard time pulling off the comedy in this. Her timing just seemed off, but maybe she was poorly directed.

Yes

I've been thinking about this, and to be perfectly honest, if it turned out that the neighbor who had befriended me turned out the be dead, and also the deceased wife of the guy I am sort of dating, I would freak the ef out. That's just wrong, and really creepy, and dumb.

Diabolik needs to own up to posting exactly the same thing in response to two book reviews in the same day.

Agreed, Son of Griff. I saw all the classics growing up because that's what the local channels ran on Saturdays and Sundays. I stumbled across "Badlands" late one night when I was about 12, and it changed my life (in terms of how I saw movies). That was also the same year I saw "2001: A Space Odyssey" for the first

I think that's just plain Twilight, but I seem to remember a lot of supernatural teen romance titles that look like they involve werewolves.

Oh, and mine is set in present day with a science nerd high school girl protagonist and is meant to include every possible cliche that has become common in the god-awful genre.

That's OK. I have a day job, and my book is nothing like that, and I doubt I will ever finish it.

Heh everybody. Get ready for my teen romance take on Frankenstein. Can anyone suggest a publisher or agent?

There are a lot of movies that are just not meant to be seriously critiqued. This goes for a large number of books, restaurants, and music as well. Perhaps we need to make a separate scale for them. For example, we have different biochemistry classes for different students (major, non-major, pre-med, etc.). Some are

Oh sorry. I posted the quote above before checking to see if someone already had.

I can't believe anyone has NOT seen this. This is a true cult film. Lot's of different versions too, some cut for time, some for content. Fun project (if you don't have much of a life) is to try and see them all.

Great movie. Thanks for reminding me. I saw it first as a kid, and I think my daughter would be able to appreciate it now.
