Yeah, it's an interesting visual experience, sort of, but it's also boring as hell. I know that's kind of the point, Trier seemed really into hypnosis at that point, but still…

That's the only Trier film I found straight up boring.

I mainly think it's a funny as hell movie. Just a laugh out loud silly thing, but it does hit some powerful notes too. The ending is really quite effective.
