Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing too.

I haven't had time to play anymore, but I will go to town this weekend and I really do hope it changes and that I'll enjoy it as much as I did the previous games.

Four hours into the game and it does feel a little off. Not terrible or anything like many feared, but not quite like Demon's or Dark either.

This reads a little like someone who doesn't know much about Tarantino or Rodriguez, but just looked up their wikipedia entries.

Pusher 2 is a staggering film and his performance is a huge part of that.

"I love all of the mythology, which I view as more science fiction than spiritual."

And it only cost 62 million dollars.

I don't watch this show. I'm not going to watch this show. Yet here I am. I feel like I'm being manipulated…

The top hat made it genuinely cool.

Yeah, there's a definite too little too late vibe.

It's hard to tell much from that, but it does look kind of like they may have captured his look/feel. But I'm probably wrong. In the next trailer he'll dance to some pop song and there will be "topical" pop culture jokes.

That's depressing.

I don't have to talk to the guy. I just watch the movies.

I laugh at the jokes, like everyone else, but I also like Travolta. He's delivered some genuinely great performances in genuinely great movies… And some totally over the top wildly entertaining performances in films that may not have been great, but pretty damn entertaining.

Beautiful film. I love it like it is and I'm glad modern day Soderbergh didn't do it instead of the guy who did it back then. Understandable that he regrets his aesthetic choices, we all regret stuff, but it's the slightly odd mix between dark and light that makes it special.

I just played Dishonored. It's no great shakes when it comes to story and character, but if you're looking for a real solid stealth game with lots and lots of options, it's excellent.

Eh?

It really was an uncool choice.

Yeah, I read after I had seen the episode that they apparently did their very best to get that bit out there. I'm surprised it took me that long before I came across it.

If I have to complain about something (and I have to, it's the internet), it's that I managed to stay completely spoiler free for a hell of a long time. Didn't watch any trailers or interviews. Then on the day the show arrives, I took a quick glance at the avclub front page… Bam! There they are, duking it out.
