No doubt that it's a show that he's deeply involved with and he deserves a vast amount of credit, it's just in general there's this tendency to go all auteur, mainly because it's easier, and I think on occasion it would be cool with a little shout out to the sound designer or what have you.

Where's the kung fu? And the classy dissolve between tits and countryside?

Looks really fresh and original. Quite unlike anything I've ever seen before.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. Fuller is the main guy behind the show, no doubt, but there's a remarkable amount of "Fuller does this" and "Fuller does that."

Yes! Best 2013 show I saw, by a mile.

God I love that opening.

I agree.

I've come to terms with the fact that this is the sort of entertainment that will never become the kind critics love (of course not) but why so many people on the net get a kick out of trashing it, that I still don't understand.

Also watched The World's End.

I've been playing Demon's Souls. Old King Doran is a feisty one. Love the hell out of the game though.

Cool. Carnivale was so damn good, no amount of abrupt endings could ever make me not love it. A real evocative, fascinating world with interesting characters.

Ah, fair enough. Though it's the sort of show that's gotten real popular among people who can't tell their Romero from their Savini, so who knows, you might be the perfect audience.

In a perfect world, we would all speak every single language in existence.

You should give Walking Dead a try. It's the trend to trash it on the internet, but it is popular for a reason. It's very, very entertaining.

Not that it really matters, but he always come across like a gracious and cool guy.

Don't be turned off by that cancellation talk. I didn't know anything about the behind the scenes stuff when I watched it and I wasn't bothered by the way it ended. It's great all the way through.

What's weird is that the reviewer doesn't seem to really hate the film, so it's odd that he decided to spoil it.

What's up with Disney and arched eyebrows?

He pretty much gives it away in the review.

If you watch enough subtitled movies, this would cease to be a problem. It's true.
