Maybe they do, they just don't call them exactly that.
Maybe they do, they just don't call them exactly that.
You speak the truth.
They can't find a good actress. Nancy Allen was cute and didn't deserve bad things to happen to her, I could buy it. The villain is over the top in that Argento way, he's mainly there so De Palma can pull off some cool set pieces, but I like to see Lithgow chew the scenery.
Fantastic moment. The film is dated and all over the place tone wise, but who gives a shit with moments like that.
I believed she had psychic powers. And could commune with animals. And lived in the forest next to a tiny man with a pointy hat.
The other reason this remake is here, is because kids don't want to watch old movies. I don't really blame the filmmakers for that.
What is so stupid about Blow Out? Besides Nancy Allen's character…
Ah okay. I like King as much as the next guy, but I've never read this book. Mainly because I like the film just fine and I'm not too big on the whole newspaper clippings and what have you.
Carrie X: In Space.
The way you spell his name kind of gives it away.
What the hell. There was both a remake and a sequel? And now this.
What good things?
Ah… I've actually seen it. Memorable stuff.
Is otherness code for weird looking? If you you look past Spacek's appearance, her "otherness", it was an excellent performance, something this girl doesn't seem to be capable of.
I made it to season 5 as well. I genuinely enjoyed the show, so many strong episodes and great characters, then they had to kind of fuck it up with that here's Olivia's daughter stuff and what have you, so I jumped ship. I feel a little bad about it.
It might be really odd to reply to this here one year later, but your reading is also pretty odd, to say the least. It's obvious that it's our lead who left the photos around, presumably when she was in her vindictive mood.
I see I must have missed the now hate Lennon memo.
This sounds correct.
God is such an amazing song. I could listen to that thing all day long.
It's an excellent film. Great performances and it's powerful in that quiet sort of way. I'm generally not much of a filmed play fan, but I felt this one really worked mainly because it's about the close up.
