The A.V. Club sure used to stick to articles about entertainment.

Yes, but I'm guessing a hat from Optimo probably costs hundreds of bucks. I go to Hats Plus at Six Corners. I figure I'll go this weekend to find something. Not another fedora (that's for colder weather). Though we know that in the end, I'm gonna end up looking like Jack Warden in 12 Angry Men.

I don't wear it with casual stuff. I stay away from T-shirts, but I need to get a new summer hat for wearing with sport shirts and pants or even shorts.

I have a fedora that I sometimes wear with a topcoat, but I wouldn't wear it casually. I have to buy a new summer hat and I refuse to get a baseball cap.

In Canada, they call them toques. I grew up in Michigan and we called them ski caps, but in catalogs, they call them beanies, which makes me think of something a five-year-old would wear in 1950.

That and she looks very freckly as well.

What did she say? What did she say?

Yeah, but that Endor Leia at that comic convention was really hot, and I never even had a crush on Carrie Fisher.

Holy shit, the redhead in the blue dress.

Maybe the seat has an opening with buttons like in those old Disney cartoons.

Don't forget, the only hats you can wear are ski caps (please - call them "beanies") or baseball caps. Any hat with a brim makes you a FEDORA-WEARING MRA. You've seen them, right?

It doesn't help that more than half of the starving poor at my food pantry are fat.

I'm guessing more girls left the first Spider-Man movie thinking Tobey Maguire was better looking than Joe Mangianello.

You mean Cosby didn't already, or is that only eating it for breakfast?

It's a good haircut if you're under 30, but it looks ridiculous on a woman her age, especially since she's had it for so long.

That reminds me of a deleted scene from The Jerk when Navin is pestered by charities for donations. One supplicant, played by Gailard Sartain (who else?), is a Texas oil millionaire who needs new seat covers for his private jet. Navin, of course, gives him the money and the man breaks down crying, saying, "Now I can
