That must have been some citizen from an unaligned country who voted us both down. No more arms shipments for him!

I'd pay real money to see April become a country music star.

I miss the Cold War.

Carol/Cheryl looks freakin' hot with that hair style. Yes, I said it.

Fuck this. It should have been Kyle Secor. Time to delete the show from my DVD.

I only considered characters who lasted throughout the (almost) entirety of the series. I could have included Wesley Crusher or Kes from Voyager if I had. And yeah, I must have blocked Neelix from my mind. Thank you very not for reminding me of his existence.

TNG is incredibly dated by now, in some ways even more so than TOS. I think folks like it more for nostalgia reasons than overall quality.

Close. I'd say it's more analogous to WWI, with the UK (Federation) and France (Klingons) faking the Lusitania sinking to bring the US (Romulans) into the war. The Romulans helped in the Dominion War, but weren't the overwhelming addition like the US was in WWII.

Oh hai, writer from season three of 24.

But … but … but … will she find true love? HOMELAND, WE NEED CLOSURE!!!!

Prediction: I wrote this two weeks ago and it's still holding up. It'll end with Brody "dying," Carrie aka 3-packs-a-day-unfiltered distraught, fade to a sympathetic abortion doctor, then some sign that Brody is actually alive. Chris Brody will not be seen or even thought of by the writers.

Still trying to login, like most of us.

"I HAVE NO SON" — Nick Brody

Wait, I thought avclub readers just used Macs.

In this subthread: olds.

Top 10 list, chief. Couldn't fit everyone.

Your post got me thinking of a ranking/power poll of non-reboot Trek actors. Anything pre-JJ Abrams and his lens flare are fair game. Series regulars and recurring characters only, so that rules out folks like Joan Collins from The City on the Edge of Forever.

Parks & Rec is divinely created, at least according to people who post in this tweetblog.

I was really hoping to see Dana Brody find true love this week. Pity.
