You must be new to the avclub. Every reviewer writes about his or her own experiences or viewpoints, rather than reviewing the actual television program. On the rare occasion that a reviewer does, you know, critique the show … that review is quickly hired by a better site.

"Aceveda suggests copying a file and giving the original to a City Council member who’s been dealing with Pezuela, doing a favor and keeping their leverage. Vic smiles as he realizes, maybe for the first time, how smart Aceveda is. You can do a lot worse in terms of allies, and Vic certainly has."

Dude, check out the Longmire Season 1 reviews by Zack. Dude couldn't overcome his crush on Katie Sackhoff long enough to write a decent review the entire season. Not that Longmire was a classic show or anything, but still.

There's a soundtrack album released back in 2005. Music from and inspired by the series … yes, I paid to download it. Well worth it for those of us who strive to join the Strike Team.

I had just the opposite initial reaction. It originally aired on Tuesday evenings in the US right after season 1 of 24. In the days before DVR, I always made sure I was home to catch the full two hours. I don't think I left my chair for those 120 minutes. Good memories.

That's what wallflower is for.

Fuck, I knew I recognized him. He should have stuck with golf.

Great. Just let the Islamists win.

SPOILER AT THIS POINT, I think
To be fair,
It's tough to nail down the politics of the colonies to begin with. A much heavier religious influence that we're to (non-ISIS), a seething resentment from many of the colonies, and the president is willing to send in troops(!) to break up a teachers(!) strike.

Apollo is definitely not American, though he may well be a hunk. He's English. You can tell from his stiff upper lip and his need for a real American, Starbuck, to pull his ass from the proverbial fire in nearly every military engagement. No jingoist.

Coincidentally, Olyphant played the character of Cletus van Damme in the movie Girl Next Door.

If you want/need photography of The Shield locations in LA for your book, hit me up.

Let's hear it for the UC system "yes means yes" policy!

As long as wallflower sticks around to finish out The Shield, we're good.

Meh. Not enough Saul.

Wallflower promises he'll finish out the series. That's all you need to look for, really.

"Mara’s always been the femme fatale."

I didn't even remember the 7-up Guy was on the show. When Captain Irving's name was mentioned, I had to think for a moment who it was. The sheriff made much more of an impression in the series, yet Irving was in each episode.
To be fair, that last scene of this episode was cool. So maybe his character will be more

Drop the mic, yo. This isn't even a contest anymore between you and the paid reviewer.

It's a pity he already covered Season 2. If he were working through it now, Nowalk would be able to shoehorn in a comparison between Armadillo's flaming tire killings and ISIS beheadings.
