I guess what I meant in the last paragraph is that I feel as if the show's writers are rushing back to have the show function as a reason for having Carrie and Brody constantly interact with each other. While the circumstances and dynamics have been altered slightly, we're still getting back to a show where Brody and

Two reasons I elevated my grade for this episode past what it probably deserves:
1. Amelia bluntly telling Nick that she's actually a human being, not some concept. That was so incredibly startling and refreshing for a sitcom/comedy show, considering these types of shows often discard or mistreat guest-star

Kind of an uneven episode for me, but my unreasonable crush on Jane grows even greater after she rags on adult-Hunger-Games-and-Harry-Potter obsessives. Also, I could probably watch more of Max at addiction-meetings.

Babe Ruth Bader Ginsburg was playing in a completely different league/sport of awesome than any of the other costumes that the Fox Tuesday Night comedy-show writing-staffs came up with for last night's episodes.

The line about The Wire bumped this up one grade-level for me.

I've been wondering why 30 for 30 doesn't devote some energy to the influence of Sonny Vaccaro on youth basketball in America (they could get World Wide Wes to do an interview), especially with the increase concern regarding the rise of AAU basketball and the disproportional amount of funding provided by sneaker

This was a tough episode to judge. The stuff between Carrie and Brody is quite spectacular stuff in terms of simple scenes turning into something entirely amazing to watch based largely upon the ability of the actors involved. Yet, I thought the script kept severely hindering the entire episode.

While many of the better comedic shows currently on TV share similarities, what I appreciate about Happy Endings is its pace and precision. While all these shows rely heavily upon a ton of improvisation by their cast, shows like New Girl and Ben and Kate often hold those riffs a beat too long and linger a little too

In terms of actual comedy, I thought this week's episode was a considerable improvement from the past couple of weeks. Of course, most of that was due to the material they provided Robin. It's completely ridiculous that they're naming all three of these friends as the god-parents, particularly if they're basing this

I'm in complete agreement with Todd about how weak that entire baseball game montage was. In fact, aside from the stuff with Ryan meeting the entire Braverman clan, all of the baseball game material felt like the Braverman's turned into caricatures of themselves. I kept thinking the Bravermans were way out of line

This might be the most perfect casting choice in the history of TV, especially since they cast Sarah Wright as Millicent. I'm absolutely floored by the fact that someone thought of this.
