One of my favorite parts of that movie is watching Fox's hairstyle change as he is called back for reshoots in the middle of shooting Light of Day and Family Ties.

Poledouris was amazing. His score to Red Dawn is one of the only things I can still stomach about that movie.

That David Foster-produced and -scored soundtrack is like peak '80s.

The limousine scene - with one of the only two actually appropriate uses of Yello's "Oh Yeah!" ever seen in the 1980s - was pretty damn hot for a Michael J. Fox movie.

Not a word about his portrayal of Slartibartfast? :(

I liked the episode. The reason why is that it's finally starting to feel like the characters realize everything is starting to fall apart. There may not be a Hollywood rescue for Gail. Melissa may not be fixable. The world is ending for them, even though they made it through the first apocalypse.

Watch it be Harriett Mudd played by Zoey Deschanel

As soon as I saw the flashback structure, I thought, "Pearl is going to cry and it's going to liberate all the dust in my room."

Literally the only thing I know about The Adventures of Ford Fairlane is that it's the movie from which we received the Queensryche song "Last Time in Paris."

Goddamn I love the Salieri Mix of "Rock Me Amadeus." But for me, the zenith of the song happens just as the narrator wraps up his summary by namedropping Falco…

Obviously you don't know many vets either if you're going to paint with that broad of a brush.

You DESTROYED Rabin.

The Internet Archive makes time stand still.

The kids who are apathetic to old pop culture turn into twenty-somethings obsessed with it. I used to get all angsty about my kids not appreciating Douglas Adams or Monty Python but it turns out all that they needed was to get past their reluctance to partake in anything I liked and discover it on their own.

Some things are simply not meant for human consumption.

Speaking personally, all it took was getting out of being a Mormon that activated my personal Epiphany Heartlight.

Are you looking for a safe space?

Somehow, the Cookie Monster gimmick account's takedown of this guy is the greatest thing I've ever read on AV Club. I cannot explain why.

IT'S A FARGIN TRAVESTY

Apparently, Supergirl wants a rock.
