One of my grad school friends has described Dracula as "a lot more fun to talk about than it is to read."

I remember closing The Kite Runner in disgust a chapter or two after the rape scene and never going back. It felt like an attempt to use grotesque cruelty to get me to care about characters who otherwise had not earned my sympathy. And I quit Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time 150 pages into the first book and questioning

Freedom is one of the most mediocre-but-absurdly-self-important piles of dreck I have ever cracked open. I finished it because I was on a plane and there was nothing else to do.

You realized Last of the Mohicans was published in1826, right?

The creepy spirit thingies are bad guys, but I'm guessing they're the mooks for some bigger bad that's going to be revealed later in the season.

I heard a rumor that Joaquin Dos Santos isn't coming back. Can anyone confirm that as true/false? If it's true, that worries me a bit. He's a big part of why the action is so amazing, and while Ryu is clearly a talented director, according to Bryan he is also responsible for fartbending, which I did not enjoy.

He's been enamored with the power that the Avatar represents ever since he was a kid. Bringing his gang to terrorize her

I'm back and forth on this one as well. The hatred of Skyler has always been totally out of proportion to her established faults, but I kind of feel like the show set the character up for that in Season One. Even though her position is sympathetic and morally correct, she just isn't very likable, and she's written to
