The overall story arc is really compelling, but it's hampered by childish dialogue and annoying inessential subplots (Aang's fangirls, ugh). And Kataang. The Zuko stuff is great though, and the haters can go fuck themselves.

I see both sides of this argument. I do wish there had been more resolution to the Equalist storyline or at least a more open acknowledgement in the finale that loose ends remained. Tenzin's "you saved the city" was a little pat.

I also just want to point out that Tenzin is not infallible. His consistent failure to provide an alternative between "do nothing" and "do whatever Tarrlok says" in dealing with the Equalists was a significant problem. He's passive and reactive. Korra's aggressive and proactive. They learn from each other. I see their

Sure. I just think it was a choice made by the Nickelodeon Standards Department.

I think we were supposed to read that goodbye as the definitive end of their relationship. Honestly, I was so bored by their romance, that I can't even get mad about it. Asami is so much more

@facebook-774655640:disqus There are web series out there putting out extremely compelling narratives in 5 minute episodes. Length isn't really the issue so much as what you do with the time given. Season 5 of The Guild, for example, managed to give a cast of 6 major characters complete arcs in just over an hour of
