@The_Tuna:disqus  Hell, just look at what they've gotten done in the last four episodes of THIS show. Four episodes ago, it was all pro-bending and dating and Amon being kind of menacing!

Yes this, and her sweet but rather condescending description of her Air Temple room as "charming."

You don't need to fanwank it that hard. Amon straight up tells her why she gets to live/keep her bending: her demise would serve as a rallying point for the rest of the world. Amon's a master of eight-dimensional chess, and he's taking a "hearts and minds" approach and uses the political/ideological weapons at his

When I saw him fly through the wall, I thought the same thing and was like, "naw, really, show?" And then, I was like, "Jesus, Mary, and Oprah, she's going to fucking kill him."

Not to mention that she destroyed the fucking Council building at the end.

I feel like this is shaping up to be like the last four episodes of A:TLA Book 2, which was, in my opinion, the show's best run. Aside from Aang's trip to the Dagobah system (necessary, but not very well-done), it all focused on one place, was intense as fuck, and had one head-spinning reveal after reveal.

Especially since we've seen Katara use the ice blade move several times.

Oh I agree, but Tarrlok doesn't strike me as one of those. He seems more like a narcissist.

I liked it too. I suspected a rug-pull of some kind was imminent, because it was just too sweet to last, but I certainly didn't expect the episode to end with the entire team incarcerated.
