Actually, I think that's a flaw of the actor himself. I watched a couple interviews with him, and he stammers/stutters a lot - like his mind is working faster than his lips.

Yeah, as someone who wasn't expecting it (haven't read the books) I thought "oh no, she's going to get raped" - thankfully that didn't happen, but it did get my attention. The fact that Julia follows him after that shows how far she's willing to go.

Not only that, for someone who is supposedly shy she wears some incredibly short dresses/skirts.

I liked the first episode better than the second. Quentin's combination of clinical depression and obsession with the children's fantasy books makes him sympathetic and someone to root for. Eliot and Julia are the most likable characters. I like how Eliot is not subtle at all about having a thing for Quentin. Alice

I'm a sucker for martial arts dramas so yeah, I watched it and liked it! Hundred Eyes is my favorite part of the show.

What I want to know is when is Marco Polo season 2 coming and when will Rectified's latest season head to Netflix?!

7 episodes and no indication of what happened to Julie Mao, what the big conspiracy is, or what the deal is with Naomi and Amos, and the Miller and Holden stories are only going to have 3 episodes to converge. I'm starting to think that either we're not going to get the conclusion of Leviathan Wakes this season or it

I like the way your mind works. You've clearly given this a lot of thought. :)

I never found Octavia interesting. Her sudden love for Lincoln felt forced and ever since last season, she's been obsessed with the Grounders - and is kind of a jerk to everyone around her, including Lincoln. I don't buy that she became that good with a sword, tracking, horseback riding, etc. in such a short span.

Yes, I read that scene in the car as her being angry that her son gave the shot to that particular boy. I'm not sure if the son is gay, but his reasoning could be that they had been practicing together so much that he wanted to let his friend take the shot. Or also the way their practice was filmed (lots of touching)

Ugh, people say this in real life?

I didn't watch season 1, but decided to try season 2. I had already read a short description, so I knew the story would involve a male rape victim.

I liked it. I thought production value was great - the shots of the Seattle Needle, remnants of helicopters and a ship, the place where Allanon and Wil went to look for the book, and the beachy location where Amberle was hiding out with her aunt were gorgeous. The CGI/etc, for Dagda Mor and the Changeling were great

I loved this episode so much I watched it twice.

I couldn't agree more. Critics love to pick apart dialogue for being too "on the nose", but Yao was realizing too late that she had underestimated the threat; she was likely in shock and feeling understandably defeated.

I kept confusing John and Joe throughout the series and these recaps.

After finishing the show, I can say I enjoyed it and I am ready for season 2 - I don't know that I'll want to rewatch season 1, though.

The scene where Tagomi warped into the alternate reality was in the book, wasn't it? I thought it was fantastic, only I wish it had occurred earlier in the season. So many unanswered questions as a result of this episode.

He also played the zombie head of police in I, Zombie season 1 and I believe he was the advisor of Four from Dark Matter.

I love this idea - I hope season 2 goes full on parallel universe scifi.
