Just checked, tickets start at $75.

Finished reading The Handmaid's Tale for the first time a week or so ago and loved it.

It's been renewed through its sixth and final season, so barring the end of the world, there's nothing to worry about.

It's been kinda weird — first season started in July and the second season started in September. Season 3 premiers August 31.

We've got them in Nebraska. The kids at the school I work at love them.

I miss the Taco Bell Bell. I don't read comments nearly as much as when I used to have a desk job (which is about 5 years ago now), but I haven't seen that account in a long time. Somehow, it always chimed in at the most perfectly opportune moment. (Or at least, that's how I choose to remember it.)

To be fair, FXX will also have You're the Worst this summer, which is great. (Why FX proper decided to go with Married over that, I will never know.)

He actually had at least one more show in Chicago: he performed at the University of Chicago on February 13, 2005. Having been a big fan for a few years, I was naturally super excited that he was coming to my school and I'd get a chance to see him, so of course several friends and I went. He was just as badly off as

Sonny Rollins is indeed still incredible. Ahmad Jamal is also still kicking. I was going to say I saw him recently, then realized that was in 2005, but at least at that point, his show was astounding.

This is cool to know, as I love Earthsea but haven't read Phantom Tollbooth since I was a kid. I work in an elementary school ESL class and noticed we have a few copies of that available for our more advanced readers. Thought I'd borrow a copy and give it a read, so it's good to know it's on a par with a book/series I

Strangely enough, once I began smoking, I *stopped* listening to Phish.

Not just looking at. The ordinance passed in the city council yesterday by a 44-3 vote. Fines are $250-500.

Unrelated to TV: Duck Dunn, bassist for Booker T. & the MG's, died today at 70. He was one of my favorites, and I've spent many hours learning his brilliantly simple yet soulful bass lines from recordings, for the likes of Otis Redding and Albert King. Sad day.

Not sure if this is really underrated, but "One Too Many Mornings" is one song I will never skip over in a playlist. "And the silent night will shatter/from the sounds inside my mind…"

I wonder if it'll be showing 'round midnight.

Wouldn't your comment really be a "Fun 'Fun Fact' Fact"?
