HEY! HEY!
PLAY 'WAITING FOR A SUPERMAN!' PLAY IT! 'WAITING FOR A SUPERMAN!' WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FLAMING LIPS!!!!!!!!!!!! WAITING FOR A SUUUUPERMAAAANNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!

I can't decide whether Pope on a Rope is a genius or a fool. Either way, in five years, we will all be working for him … or dead by his hand.

Y'all are gross.

Your lurker memory has not failed you, Pope! And yeah, they did get that from "Freaks" - Johnny was a huge fan of old-school horror movies - but I don't know why they changed it from Gooble Gobble. I mean, maybe that's just too hard to sing fast enough. Or maybe, bless 'em, they just heard it wrong. They're talented,

SciFi is showing Star Trek all day today. It's only the gorgeous weather, the staggering amount of work I have to do and the fear of Trek overload that's keeping me from turning on the teevee and watching it all.damn.day while I feel my ass spread out under me.

Is that the Tourette's flaring up again, Pope?

Just after I read this post, I checked my email to find that "The Beastie Boys are now following [me] on Twitter!"

I'd let him pinch my neck anyday
Any movie where I get to gaze into Zachary Quinto's eyes for two hours straight can't be all bad. Reck, back me up here, girl! Where you at?

Earl, that comment was funny until I scrolled down to see The Movie Fan's comment. Sigh.

John Paul Jones
The Navy hero or the bassist? Specify, people.

Seconded.

HOLY FUCK
DID THEY SERIOUSLY JUST USE MY FAVORITE JOHNNY CASH SONG IN A DANE COOK MOVIE?

That's because I haven't seen Wolverine (yet), Piatrowr. It exists for me only in some distant, misty future, probably in a couple of years or so when I'm home sick with the flu and it's the only thing on TV. FX to the rescue!

But will the Olsen twins guest star?
That is my only question.

I agree, but they should do it only sparingly. Too much fourth wall breaking sets my teeth on edge.

WHACKITY SCHMACKITY DOOO, MA CHERIE!

Or TBS, or MTV, or Bravo, where you can actually literally see the beginnings of the fall of American civilization.

I'm optimistic. Clearly, she's really clever and a funny writer, but furthermore she doesn't seem to have any qualms about making fun of herself or playing less-than-flattering characters. Debasing yourself in the name of comedy FTW!

I forgot the part where you turn into a flesh-eating she-werewolf. That is pretty awesome.

Bulbasaurus Rex, my agent would like to see a script on his desk by Friday. Make sure Wardrobe knows that as the movie goes on I'll need to match the belt color to my Converse.
