The Beck song you're referring to is "Wave." I made the same comment on A.V.'s review of Beck's new album, "Morning Phase." At first I
thought it was a cover of Radiohead's "Pyramid Song." I think I like Beck's "Wave" more than you do, but the similarity to "Pyramid Song" is striking.

Watched Beck performed "Wave" on SNL last night (3.1.2014) and at first I thought he was covering "Pyramid Song." I like Beck's song, but you're right, the similarity is blatant and distracting. Why is this not a thing?

Gotta love Mo Collins/Joan Callamezzo:

"Increasingly arbitrary, random silly shit" is a spot-on description of this whole season.

The actor playing Joe looked so damn familiar. He's Michael Zegen who also played a young Benny Siegel (before he became "Bugsy") on Boardwalk Empire, and Damien Keefe, Tommy's brain-damaged godson, on Rescue Me.

Just spitballing here, but perhaps some thought he or she sounded a bit supercilious by letting us know at the outset that we're in the presence of a professor with a PhD. Also, "I chuckled at their little accomplishments" may have struck some as condescending.

"30 seconds, in and out. 30 seconds, in and out."

"It's a cappuccino, Dean. It's not a 'cup of chino.' Okay? Fucking animals."

I loved this episode, and thought the dialogue was especially funny. More Paul Simms, please.

Although, I thought the exchange with the customer in tonight's episode was pretty funny:

I'm a huge Jon Glaser fan as well. Don't know if you're an Amy Schumer fan but he did a great skit on her show: http://youtu.be/zYBA1GQf5WQ

10538 Overture at high volume.

What? No MoonPie?

His tear falling when his daughter is showing him her drawings broke my heart.

That was "Just a Closer Walk With Thee," by the great Patsy Cline.

Playing that scene took balls. Kudos.

Laughter. Definitely laughter. The out-of-context scrotum shot has always been a veritable treasure trove of funny. Well done. What did your wife think?

"Kemosabe. You're showin' brain."

You have problems. Seek help.

That's the way I heard it, too.
