I couldn't think of any authors named Snerd (as in Mortimer) or Doody (as in Howdy).
Here's to Us, by Ellie Goulding.

To continue the nitpicky rant . . . Have the writers ever been to a bowling alley, or at least seen The Big Lebowski? The guy yelled at them when they entered the bowling alley without bowling shoes - and charged $25 to rent shoes?! Crazy. (For those uninformed in the custom and practice of their local bowling alley, …
At least they avoided any reference to what is objectively the world's worst sandwich - the Philly cheesesteak.
The only pleasing part of any opening monologue is seeing Lenny Pinkett smiling benevolently from the shadows.
I, for one, had no real insight to the FJ answer. The best I could do is that it was likely a capital of a New England state. (Also, if you're ever in Montpelier jonesin' for a Big Mac and large fries, there is a McDonald's a few blocks on the other side of the Montpelier border in Berlin, VT.)
Technically, you're wrong.
Lots of actors calling for more diversity in the nomination process but no mention that only the actors get to vote on who gets nominated for the acting categories *. Just seems a tad hypocritical. I wish Chris Rock had called them on it.
Ha! I caught that, too. The are-you-fucking-kidding-me look on his face was priceless.
Seinfeld used a laugh track and a live audience, depending on the scene. Maybe you're thinking of Curb.
Hard for me to disagree, but I think his biggest failing was blithely following the advice of the worst inner circle ever assembled - Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Libby, Perle, et. al. Was Bush personally complicit and culpable? Absolutely. Was he as patently evil as his core group of advisers? I don't think so, but…
I thought Jay Pharaoh in the strip club sketch was hilarious. He wasn't given much to work with, but his enthusiastic "Up with People" mannerisms really cracked me up.
Plus it was a literary category and he seems to favor literary categories.
Lordy that was cringe inducing. I felt bad for the guy.
Agreed. I think it's a great show, too. One of the aspects that I think makes it unique is that the characters all seem to genuinely like each other and despite a hiccup here and there show each other loyalty and support. Typically you'd see a lot more infighting and backstabbing played for laughs. This show doesn't…
R-word museum?
I think the sketch used the same seating order of the characters around the table that was used in the movie.
Yeah, that bugs me too because the "at" is redundant.
I'm afraid it doesn't look good. During a December 2014 Grantland interview (link below), Larry David gave 6-1 odds against a new season of Curb happening. Sad.
