You're my hero. (Not ironic). Can you send him six retroactively for Nowhere Men, and then tell him to get his ass on making the next six? Thanks.

You're actually at the point where I quit reading Avengers for the first time. The Stern run was so great, and then Simonson had a nice dark coda—then Byrne took over at 300 and it was absolute crap. My recollection is that it doesn't get good again until Busiek.
yep. No idea who she was, but read the first paragraph because of the familiarity implied by the headline.
POG is my favourite Banks as well, but Use of Weapons I think is commonly considered the best.
If you love somebody, set them on fire
I like that show, but the romantic plots are my least favourite part. There's an excellent streak of subtle absurdist humour running through the show which is excellent.
There's a book out there somewhere in which Mamet relates his theory of acting, which is that there is no character, "only lines on a page." I always took it that she subscribed to the same idea, and that's why she delivers the lines that way.
That is hilarious. I had no idea it was such a big deal.
I like this article, but am dismayed by the lack analysis given to Donkey Kong. Seriously, the original enemy, and he gets nothing? (Yeah, yeah, cranky kong, etc.) Donkey Kong forever.
The fight scene is on youtube. It is impressive as hell, and true to the book.
I didn't know that. I'll have to see if I can find the movie.
I am partial to The Quick Red Fox as an introduction.
That happens in the books on the regular.
That are amazing books. John D. is more than a pulp writer, although he clearly writes in that genre. He has an amazing ability to write characters and every plot is a page turner. They are probably my favourite pulp/crime novels of all time, with Charlie Huston's Hank Thompson books being a close second.
Is this 'fearless' though? Has he slightly delayed a career in architecture to record it?
Often posting doesn't necessarily work.
Clearly comments on a website are more reliable than a sworn statement.
I am groot
I hate it as well, but still really like Rhodes. Check out the live albums. He has much better tone on those. The live version of Crazy Train on Tribute is way better than the studio one.
I agree the quote makes no sense, and puzzled me as well. If Andrew is right, that would make sense, but for the word 'simultaneous.'
