Yep yep exactly. In Assassin's Creed, you perform assassinations here and there with some variance and creativity, sure, but then you just avoid the authorities jumping into haystacks and/or shed hate with anti-notoriety grinds and the open world routine of it gets old fast.

Those are some great points. I totally feel that Bond suaveness from the style and atmosphere of these missions. Even with some of the lovingly ridiculous encounter options I've had so far, there's a real charged energy of cool to everything that unfolds. I've even decided to turn off the Opportunities indicators

Final Fantasy X / Final Fantasy X-2 is my favorite of the FF series but fair warning— you're gonna have to endure this scene if you purchase it (plays out the exact same way in the Japanese version too so it's not a translation thing either):

/comfort. Yep yep. I feel your pain. Palace #7 is my least favorite of all the palaces because of all those issues. So much backtracking and insta-respawning enemies. It's like NES Ninja Gaiden in Persona dungeon-crawling form. And as you say, so much of it could easily have been condensed and refined to be

Salutations~!

Well said. I agree completely. I love this place. So many decades conversing online, or even talking in real life over time, you realize just how precious it is to have spaces where you can build a connection of understanding and camaraderie with people. How difficult and rare it can be to sustain a Great

Holy shit, that's insane. And my original joke was gonna be "well at least Marvel was never like Superman in the '50s and '60s were he kept sadistically messing with Lois for comedic purposes because she was just trying to marry him." But yikes, I guess the comics industry turned out to be the precursor to

/comfort SW and Quicksilver. At least they were never their own parents through a time loop or some other timey-wimey/genetic alteration, nor were they in a Clone War. And never had any deals with Mephisto. They didn't… right? Man, comics. Comics.

OH NO! DISNEY GOT TO HIM! WE'RE TOO LATE! DAMN YOU, DISNEY! DAMN YOaaaaAAAARRrrrrGGGHHHHH~!!!

I still remember all those old home video commercials. "BETTER ACT FAST AND BUY THIS NOW BEFORE THE DISNEY VAULT© CLOSES FOOOREEEVEEERR!" It's really weird to view Snow White or Lady and the Tramp or Bambi as the McRib of Disney releases. Bad, Disney, bad! No artificial scarcity!

Harvey Dent: We received a letter from Shinigami this morning. "Citizens of the CZ. The CZ has earned a rest from acrimony. But should the forces of evil rise again to cast a shadow on the heart of the comment thread, call me."

I too wonder about just how devastating this final standoff could play out. Very suspenseful thus far.

Thematically and in terms of mood/atmosphere (P3's primary color is blue and is about death/loss, P4's primary color is yellow and is about inner/outer truth), that comparison is accurate, but I did stretch things a bit to link it to the Live Action DC crossover analogy.

Unfortunately, the only way to play either currently aside from emulation is via a PS Vita or a PS3 (unless you play the original PS2 discs).

Agreed on all counts! Olenna's last thorn being the tipping point makes perfect character, thematic, and dramatic sense. And I loved Dr. Branhattan so much there I wish he could have been in LOST to mirror similar words back to Benjamin Linus and Widmore etc. I also love that people have nicknamed him Dr.

Do I have infinite daughters too?
/comfort Danny Trejo's character.

Diablo III Necromancer + Season 11, bunch of Let's Plays, Diablo III, handful of movie rewatches, Diablo III, Game of Thrones, Diablo III, Rick and MortyDiablo III. Top notch entertainment all weekend long, without a doubt.
