Whoa, just realized something as a potential plot for a future GoT episode:
(Spoilers if it turns out to be true)

Yep yep, so true! Exactly my feelings on Icewind Dale as well. Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, and Icewind Dale really showed the full capabilities of the Infinity Engine's world building. You could go all in on a 3D isometric-esque novel, partake of a Diablo / Gauntlet open-ended dungeon crawl, or craft a more

I just realized that if Pillars of Eternity allowed you to craft your own party as Icewind Dale does, a team-up of your Adonis Alabaster with Michael B. Jordan and Hannibal Buress in the world of Eora would have been pretty awesome.

Approximately a year ago I first imported Hatsune Miku: Project Future Tone.

Excellent review and assessment as always! /cheer. I very much liked how this episode tried to present every major female ruler as a focal point character to show the real wheels of this Southern conflict coming to a head (and each with her own definition of justice, duty, and family played out in full).

No clue. I'm guessing either there are rights issues that come into play with everything that would have to be licensed and/or the companies involved don't see much value in cross-media promotions. By comparison, Japanese game/manga/anime companies love doing that sort of thing (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Persona,

I agree- I too very much enjoy the adventurous but lowkey and relatively subdued aesthetics of FFXII's world. I've always liked all the hunts and quests involving the Giza Plains in particular typified by this wonderful score:

That does look super stylish!
I bet with the game passing 1.8 million sales worldwide that means we'll even get a Persona 5 musical/live action stage run in Japan too . That should be pretty crazy awesome.

Of course Konami still cares about making video games… that way they can advertise new properties for their Pachinko machines! :P

I do not recommend the Telltale bundle for you with that selection. None of them are bad games, but they are very very much "…OKAY I guess" games. They're decent and serviceable.

NieR (2010) is pretty much exactly like that too— it just has VERY bland gameplay on top of that. Not BAD gameplay… just BLAND. And a lot of grinding. Even by JRPG standards. But it has some wonderful batshit crazy moments, most definitely. I really hope it gets a go-ahead for a remake or a re-release on PS4/Steam.

Yay! Everyone loves Japanese Bernie Sanders! He does help with negotiations a lot.

Stingo starts the CZ confidant link…

My guess—

Japanese Bernie Sanders: Come on, young man! Don't go bar hopping! We need to change the world together!

Wow that's awesome! Not a lot of players seem to like Ohya all that much. I think it's because of how much she drinks and that a lot of her time is spent complaining. Plus people really like Lala Escargot and wish Lala could have been featured in a confidante link instead.

Mishima: YES! Everything's coming up Milhouse, errrr Butters, ummm Mishima! Mishima is king!

Awesome! Did you go help Yusuke explore his art world then? Or are you more about maxing Ryuji/Anne at this time?

Then my description was PERFECT! :P It's BOTH.
Actually the best parallel is Planescape: Torment here— it's a slog, but a straightforward, simplistic slog so you can steamroll the mobs and just engage with the characters and story.
