/comfort. Yeah every Persona game has some special summer event(s), dungeon and otherwise, that eats up a huge amount of time despite the game ostensibly, finally giving you the feeling that "OMG I'm ACTUALLY gonna have enough time to MAX everything out, YES!"

Muahahahahaha, gooooood goooood! Join the NieR: Automata appreciation club! /cheer ^^ Let your inner batshit crazy feelings reach their fullest potential!

Glad to hear it! NOTE— if it's in particular because of the thematic resonance and strong character development represented by every little progression in that palace, every dungeon in Persona 4 is like that.

Sorry for the double post— I was checking around to see if one of the more famous and wonderful forum stories about times in FFXI was still active. Indeed it is so I just wanted to link that below-

Final Fantasy XI! No question! /cheer! Even if I had never retained emoting from that game, I and so many others already have written tomes about the hellish existence we so lovingly remember trying to survive together in that game's early years.

I rag on Season 6 of LOST a lot and poke at the Sideways Flashes in particular for taking up so much of an episode with redundancy, but I just wanted to take some time to point out how much I love all the parallels in these two scenes featuring Locke and Jack:

Drinking with Skeletons, incomprehensible? Really? What part of "WE HAVE TO CHANGE THE FUTURE TO CHANGE THE PAST" don't you understand?!? And gods have eternal domain over time and space until they don't because REASONS, that's why! Godly reasons that transcend mere common sense and basic tenants of logic, is all!

I'd really like it if they nerfed the level matching/aptitude of a random encounter chocobo's Choco Meteor:

I believe there's no single player element right now but the devs might be brainstormin'/working on potentially inserting one in later to imbue some more lore into the background for these Battle Royale matches. But who knows when that'll be a thing if ever, given how massively successful the multiplayer version is

Rule 10: I'll keep it short and sweet. Family, religion, friendship. These are the three demons you must slay if you wish to succeed in Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. When an assault rifle and a frying pan present themselves, you don't want to be driving to the maternity hospital or sitting in some phony bologna

John McClane:: The answer is NONE! You're the one guy going to St. Mitch, but you're also gonna take everyone's Switch from the road and resell them on Ebay! So there's NO Switches left at St. Mitch!

I understand 100% your take on this, and it's interesting as I'm wired in the opposite fashion. I noticed this primarily once I stopped having a TV cable package. I don't want to "have" to commit to watching one thing for a 2 hour+ block of time wherein it's preferred I don't multitask. So ever since dropping TV my

MAJOR SPOILERS for Metal Gear Solid 3:

Oh yeaaaah. All that rune collecting and subsequent rune spamming to keep yourself alive against that stacked enemy stat deck. Man, our player tolerance to all this masochistic torture sure was high back in the '80s and '90s, huh? I think the MMO era is what did me in on that design. But at least these single

hahaha /comfort and /cheer to yah all in one ^^. Man, usually I'm the one slightly poking at this game because I bring up its shortcomings. Now I feel like I have to wholeheartedly defend it even though that's not normally my volition with this game at all, hahaha ^^.

Agreed and thensome. It also emphasizes how old school that former approach is. It MADE sense back in the day to have random encounters so you didn't have to worry about loading up all these mobs and code movement in a given area so you could have a varied bestiary with unique spawns. Once we moved past the '90s

Good point— being able to adjust the encounter rate negates so much of that headache. Another example that comes to mind— I poke at FF8 a lot, but I LOVE the addition of Enc-None ability from Diablos after you defeat him. Just something simple like that makes the more irritating aspects of random battles so much

OMG I totally forgot about that part. I only remember the "epic" Deathstroke encounter where you fight the master mercenary by sneaking around him in a FUCKING tank. Who needs an epic hand to hand or blade to blade encounter when you can TANK DUEL. AGAIN.

I'd totally watch an anime homage to Roseanne where Anne's married to Ryuji and Yusuke subs in for sister Jackie.

Great call! I noticed that on my replay this past week for the first time! "Wow, was that in the original? That's pretty insane. It really is breaking down bit by bit." And as much as I poke at Arkham Knight, having all those uniquely emergent "shaky brain" moments pop up showcases their wonderful attention to
