Agreed on all points and then some. /cheer

It's a pretty decent Flash Sale this time around too. I hope you have a great time should you find some interesting titles there!

Thanks for the wholehearted recommendation! I am very intrigued by its rhythm elements (and even enjoyed, say, its equivalent in the Yakuza 0 disco minigame). I'm definitely on the fence with this one. Maybe I'll check out some clips from Youtube and observe the gameplay in full for a level and see if it gels with

Glad you're getting engaged so much with the challenge in P5!
Have a great time with the 5th palace!
As a certain someone might say….

Yeah, good point. I wish Telltale had a system similar to that of Dragon Age: Inquisition where you could visit a website with an interactive flowchart and generate a file with the preset decisions you want in your "character build" for a new season of decisions to come.

I don't know much about the reception of these newer Tomb Raider games. I believe they've been quite well received and successful, but I concur about the more derivative gameplay elements present and the multitude of dramatic tropes and cliches utilized in dialogue and story structure.

Great point— same thing happened with my playthroughs. End up seeing Jaunt more as Preston than the typical Speed Booster skill. "I want to go fast and far."

My favorite character is definitely Makoto. And I'd say my favorite social link occurs after the 4th palace (Hermit). Lots of fun and heartfelt moments with those characters in this roller coaster heist narrative.

Whoops~! Sorry— I totally forgot to mention this week Telltale Games announced what new titles they're working on for the near future!

Had I not already played through the previous Tomb Raider remake game ~February, I would most definitely have gotten this game too. I hope it turns out to be a great adventure rush for you.

Transistor really is a sensational title. I love all the characters' backstories and how they tie into the powers given to you for all the different possible functions in battle. It really adds to the tragic pathos of the main journey of the narrative, on top of all the different romantic relationships depicted.

I'm glad you're enjoying it so much. Do you have a favorite character and/or confidant/social link? And the music and style in that game is magnificent, isn't it? So well embedded into the gameplay at every level.

Salutations~!

Nope, I have not played either game. I hear they're rather groundbreaking for their time as adventure games and serve as interesting homages to '80s works (cyperpunk elements in the former and Lethal Weapon + Sci Fi tropes in the latter) on top of having some stellar writing.

A viable alternative would also be to get a Playstation TV (Vita TV), which is rather cheap these days, though that primarily depends upon which games you'd want to play (since they have to be compatible with it). I hear the PS4 controller hooks up rather well to the PS TV so you can use the touchpad on it

The original PS2 version of Persona 4 isn't bad at all, BUT it does show its age (2008) in quite a few places.

A few days ago I decided to check out Giant Bomb to see if they had a new Endurance Run setup (their Persona 4 Endurance Run is one of my favorite Let's Plays for that game).

Those are some great picks. And jinx! I was so thinking of posting a picture of Herbie with Sir-Not-Appearing-In-This-Film. /cheer Herbie.
