Along the lines of that criteria, Deadly Premonition and Persona 4: Golden immediately come to mind.

"took a backseat to an emotionally right but story wrong plot."

Thanks for sharing your watch of the show here every step of the way! And sorry for the text inundation at times! I hope you have a blast thinking over all those awesome LOST moments from seasons past.

I immediately thought about THIS wonderful Simpsons moment from "Lemon of Troy" the second they started executing that trope during Season 6 of LOST:

Good luck! You can do it! /cheer ^^

I personally loved every bit of music in the finale, but I do concur that it felt over-used/over-employed.

Yep yep, pretty darn awesome! I wonder if that was a simple allusion to time's passage or if it was meant to evoke that he was part of the scientific curiosity that birthed the Lamp Post station (incidentally I love that station's look- that swinging pendulum is batshit crazy and I love that they delivered character

I'm really glad you loved the overall series so much and that the final season didn't detract too much from your viewing experience! LOST Season 6 always zooms on by in a rewatch for me. So I can SEE/FEEL the dissonant moments that popped up in that original first viewing, but ALSO not have the energy of Season 5

Darn straight he is! /cheer Being able to deliver exposition and help craft the foundation for such huge, far reaching plotlines in singular monologues with aplomb is no small feat. I'm really glad he got featured so much, especially in Season 5.

/comfort Yeah, crazy, huh?
And we're just two years and ~2 months away from it being the 10th anniversary of when Community premiered.

I'd still argue the Island ends up becoming a living homage to Fantasy Island, so Gilligan's Island getting connected to this world as well works just fine for me!

Well, if the final Walking Dead season focuses on Clem- and most likely it will and will also feature her aging, I'm guessing it'll be about her passing the torch onto AJ, that definitely means Javi/Jesus become/stay as peripheral characters and can have whatever fate you wish. Everybody wins!

Telltale: "Why, of COURSE we have! There's NO way we'd have our releases and ports be a buggy mess filled with choppy framerates! Hahahahaha! Uhhhhh WHAT'S THAT OVER THERE!?!"

The later Telltale titles all run the gamut from decent to great at what they are- linear theme park ride narrative experiences that diverge slightly here and there on where the track can proceed. To me, the best of those games play at the strengths of the Telltale model (characterization, panache + style, and

Congrats! Did you enjoy the finale overall? The last season? The show as a whole? Favorite season? Episode? Thoughts? How about some of those final moments, huh? Booo ABC for that credit sequence.

Telltale has announced their next lineup of releases for the foreseeable future—>

"They are all your hat, Mr. Angier."
It really is. It's like a long lost Twilight Zone episode brought to cinematic life with full pathos and thematic resonance sewn into every scene.
