David Bowie:
best or best?
David Bowie:
best or best?
That's 100% correct!
"It wasn't your fault that I died. As much as you wanted to save me, it was my time. You've suffered enough."
I hope you had a fun to decent time with A Puzzle of Flesh, definitely at least a dud in the vein of the "so bad it's good" territory for FMV adventure games. It starts off with that bleh Blob wallet puzzle and just gets more bad B movie from there, but at least as you say there's plenty of crazy '90s clothes and sex…
"Home? I have no home. Hunted… despised… living like an animal. The jungle is my home! But I will show the world that I can be its master. I shall perfect my own race of people… a race of atomic supermen that will conquer the world!"
Agreed 100%- it's horrendous. Especially egregious given how past Persona games have had such relatively positive LGBT elements. Persona 2 has both a homosexual and bisexual relationship possible with 100% support from the other party members and Persona 4 has characters facing realistic gender identity issues in a…
Grats~! Yep it's a real shame. The game's still a wonderful Ocean's Eleven ride but I would have liked a little bit more depth to everything that happens in the later parts of the game. And the seventh palace with the on-the-nose elements you've mentioned and all the back tracking is definitely my least favorite…
I was gonna do a bit about the Doctor being played by an empty sock, but I googled "Doctor Who" and "socks" and discovered there is an unbelievable number of Doctor Who themed socks out there. I think only Star Wars would rival this level of variety. So first I have to react to that. Wowza— so many Doctor Who socks…
I shall do my best to assist! Well, hmm…
Congrats! NOTE- at least you don't need to use the old method to get that PITA Zodiac Spear anymore, /cheer! Now you need to be an Uhlan or something, whatever that is. Have fun doing awesome hunts for Montblanc and company!
Most definitely true. Great point. Those design models do tend to endure the test of time much more smoothly than other genres of gameplay.
My go-to answer for this shall always be Sid Meier's Pirates!.
Well said. /cheer to the Software Library/MS-DOS archive and any other sites for their valiant efforts to preserve these early PC titles at least (because they all have some measure of value for their contributions to the growth of game design throughout the '80s and '90s).
Oooo, outstanding! I'll google it and check out the trailer now! Thanks~!
Most definitely. I agree completely. Anyone who'd care that much about those details will either pick up on the clues as you say and/or won't be swayed by the potential for plotholes no matter what's discussed. But I completely understand the impulse to want to address every aspect of the story they've constructed.…
Hahaha, yep— the good ole crazy, arbitrary rule set for procuring a Zodiac Spear in FFXII vanilla.
/cheer Japanese Milhouse/Butters. I think he's awesome. It's just crazy how many opportunities the game gives you to belittle him as a character /comfort Mishima.
That's a great point. Certainly there are many games tied to the era in which they were released. The 8-Bit Era, the 16-Bit console wars, the pseudo 3D and emergent 3D transitional periods of the late '90s and aughts, and so on.
I've made an informal rule to always choose to spend time with a person whose social link I didn't max out the first time around
Yes! Those are the names of two very spoiled SIAMESE cats and you KNOW it! :P
Persian cats earn their decadence, darn it! Otherwise people would call them Puuuuursian cats. But nobody does! That's how great Persian cats are!
