Congrats! How'd you like that ending(s) I guess depending upon what you chose? /cheer

Doh! I swear I didn't read this first!
I immediately went looking for gifs instead of checking, whoops.
Wow, everything you present for your prequel concept here really does offer a strong core to its story while subverting a lot of the original game in interesting and organic ways. I really hope the devs for this game utilize that approach.
Square Enix has made several more games in the series, though they've all been released primarily in Japan. If memory serves, this includes the most recent entry, Rise of Mana, developed on iOS and ported to JPN Vita ~2014/2015. There was also awesomely a recent news item about a Seiken Densetsu collection being…
hahaha I just imagined a SimCity adviser window with Futaba and/or Morgana. That would be so wonderful.
The second I saw that news about that LiS prequel image, the first thing I thought about was your take on this given all the great things you've written about that game's world and characters and your wonderful experiences and pictures from playing it. I too have a lot of trepidation there.
That's a very good point! Heck, I'm excited for a potential Persona 5: Dancing All Night. I'd love some rhythm game action applied to P5's songs. Win win.
Sadly I've no clue since I never got to play Revengeance.
By the time it came out on PS3 my PS3 had a full hard drive and was collecting dust.
Ohh, OK. Understood. Sorry for my confusion. Yeah, exact same reason why I've yet to get into the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series despite hearing very good things from everyone here about the character development in those games. Lot of time investment required with an already large backlog in place.
It really is one of the best games of the past decade, whether people play it specifically to smirk at it or be moved by it or to just enjoy the stealth gameplay in it. Every scene clearly has all three intentions behind it and works on all those levels at the same time, every time.
I've no clue myself but I'd guess given the past projects of Kojima it's anywhere from one year away to five depending upon whatever Kojima could decide he wants to incorporate during the development cycle JUST to see it in a game for its own sake (/cheer).
Hmmm, most of the games I'd been anticipating for so long have finally arrived this year so I'm not sure what I'd want to see most from all the potential future entries available. Maybe a look at some crazy Mads scenes from Death Stranding? Some more info on Red Dead Redemption 2? Confirmation/info on that Life is…
Aww, thanks so much for the shout-out!
Had a bit of a rough week so thank you for ending it with this high /cheer!
Ooo, that's a really good point. Once the other islands open up the narrative itself gets rather open-ended and directionless in spots, hmmm. I wonder if that's part of the rationale for why we get the in medias res intro— to give players a focal point for what's ahead?
I remember back when I first played Monkey Island 2 decades ago it took a particularly long time to figure out how to get every advantage needed for that spitting contest. Lot of great moments in that game though, agreed, yep yep.
/cheer! Grats on finishing P5!
"CRAM it, book! Or I'll toss you into a fire!"
I concur 100%. Everything with flashbacks and Clem was aces. Everything else in this season had diminishing returns in emotional investment by comparison. And agreed on her hospital endeavor.
It's so darn great. And I know what the title for that sequel would HAVE to be—
Ghost Trick 2: The Age of Missile
