Since the pilot, this show is still very much a work in progress. I love watching it, I'm greatly enjoying it, but it's struggling a bit to balance everything together and setting up Paradise.

I'm sure he'll end up as a possibility down the line, but I think it's fair to assume that won't be featured until far later in the season. There's no way for it to be anything but troubling when she's newly widowed and legally inherited to  everything of his mother's, including Fanny herself.

I'd probably find Sasha's "my parents SUX :'(" act tired/annoying if it weren't for the fact that her dad is closested and everyone seems to know it. That can't be easy for her and is potentially a very interesting story for the show to explore.

I know, I know. It's just, The Newsroom was looking to be THE big show of the summer, hell, maybe even the year. You've got Sorkin, HBO & and Jeff Daniels. No way that won't all work together to make something brilliant.
