Depends on your tolerance for "weirdness". Some people are driven off by the hand movements and dancing. I, for one, think she is amazing live.

As someone who has grown up loving Jack's music, I've kind of turned sour on him in the last couple of years. I can't quite tell if this is because the quality of the music has dropped or because I'm just fatigued of his take on revivalist blues/punk/garage. The only thing new I've felt he has added in his solo career…
I've never heard of them, but they're now on my list, thanks for the recommendation. I didn't mean to imply its a weak year by any means, I just feel the past few years in music has been really great, and this year was just a slight down tick in terms of truly standout albums.
I think Strange Mercy was better, but that has more to do with how much I love Strange Mercy than anything else. I still think her new album was the best of the year, but I also feel its a weaker year in music.
I'll just throw mine out there…
Amanda Crew from Silicon Valley and two people from some Nick show are in there, too. This was surprisingly sweet, much more entertaining than the kissing video.
There is another video where you can watch him get slapped 31 times.
I forgot he had died for a split second and thought this was about him guest starring sometime in the future.
I get where you are coming from through, It gets me with other artists. :)
I don't know, when I saw her live, she would often tell the crowd "My names Annie and my band is St. Vincent". So, I think calling her either would make more sense than calling Lorde, Ella.
I missed most of the skits after St. Vincent's first performance. I spent the rest of my time getting needlessly worked up over people dissing her on twitter, but what I did see was surprisingly decent.
He was indeed. I don't know if he is a good actor, but he has certainly shown potential in the past…I just don't think he is fit for the traditional leading man role, despite his looks.
Have you seen Shattered Glass?
Empire sounds like it will be great, or at least I hope it will be. We could use a little diversity, without having Tyler Perrys named attached.
Which isn't much different from Gotham Central…and watching Gotham descend into a cesspool seems pretty interesting to me.
What the fuck is up with the hate for this? It looks quite good, and has a really great cast. Everyone is saying "Make Gotham Central!", but isn't this basically Gotham Central? I suppose its too much to expect the internet (and AV Club of all places) not to be cynical.
I thought it was actually pretty hilarious. Crazy learning Welch is dead after watching the episode…just an odd feeling.
Early reviews for both shows have been pretty great. Hoping they both live up to that promise.
