So true of most sitcoms. Look at the first season of Cheers or Seinfeld or what not, and they don't hold a candle to later episodes.
Both were hot, but Bailey still wins out every time
All of those "I've never watched WKRP" comments were depressing. FYI, if you haven't seen the show and want to do so, PLEASE find/download old unedited copies instead of the current DVDs, Replacing the actual music used on the show with needle drop is a damn crime.
The obvious ripoff of Dexters Laboratory is probably the most annoying aspect of Johnny Test, which is saying a lot since it's full of annoying aspects. But I still dislike Uncle Grandpa more for some reason, maybe because it seems to have more potential, but squanders it with one dumb episode after another.
It's definitely an "R", maybe PG-13 for a tv edit.
You're right, Annoying Orange is worse. Johnny Test isn't good, but it's not nearly as bad as those other two.
Dunno why they stopped with the reviews, it's been a consistently decent show. Unlike Uncle Grandpa, which might be the worst thing on CN.
The minute that cat-morphing-overload scene kicked in, I was going to yell out "Kanedaaaa!", but then figured I'd have to explain the joke to my kids.
You're an inanimate fucking object!
Me too, I was grimacing at the thought of it.
Can I like this response multiple times?
I also like his line "The cosmos without The Doctor scarcely bears thinking about", which he either says a joke or truly likes having a nemesis to tangle with.
As much as I like Hurt, I would have rather this been McGann in the special.
I'm glad they went that route too. I was afraid when I saw she was going to be in this that we were going to get Rose and Tennant's doppleganger hand-clone instead of the actual Doctor.
I agree completely. And now the inclusion of Hurt screws up the numbering. Capaldi will now be the 13th Doctor, which means they will have to throw in some "bonus regenerations" story in there sometime if they want to continue past his tenure, like they did with The Master. Personally, I kind of hope they just wrap…
Love the Master in this episode. He's still a villain, but kind of helping The Doctor at the same time, just for his own amusement.
Watching that episode for the first time when I was a kid, I thought my head was going to explode from excitement. Watched it again a few years ago, and it was still fun, but not as exciting as when I was 12.
Wow, that is insane! What a cool guy Cameron must be, to help a guy out like that you barely know. And letting him crash at your place to boot. Kind of makes me feel bad for not liking Avatar.
Has there been a better blockbuster movie this year than Pacific Rim? My kids went apeshit over it, and I gotta say this is the first movie in a long time that I don't mind them watching repeatedly. So much fun.
