No, he's referring to All You Need Is Kill (or whatever the name of that movie is now), which is a sci-fi Groundhog Day like scenario.
Saw Gravity for a second time since my wife hadn't seen it yet. Gotta say, it not only held up on a repeat viewing, I liked it even better this time around. I think the first time I saw it, I was confused since a lot of articles/reviews called it a science fiction movie, and I was expecting something else.
Matt Berry's "Jesus Christ Superstar"-like rock opera, AD/BC is worth checking out. Especially for Ayoade's Joseph.
50 Shades of Gross
Me too. I thought the first Captain America movie was great, would probably rank it just below the first Iron Man and Avengers.
Was the glowing blue eyes thing supposed to be a Dune reference? As in "the sleeper has awakened"?
I remember discussing the episode at work the following Monday, a lot of X-Files fans I worked with hated it, thought it was too gruesome. I thought it was incredible, a truly scary episode with themes I wasn't sure they could get away with on regular TV.
That business model worked well for Image in the 90s. Creator-owned comics? Great! Bunch of crap not worth the paper it's printed on? Not so great
He's still working on that Spawn reboot. Gotta sell off some "valuable" Bonds/McGwire/Sosa baseballs first to free up some funding.
Parsnip soup, eh? We'll have Parsnip Pie!
MSG'd! "Ow, my stomach lining!"
That's the first thing I thought
TaumpyTearrs: I agree with your assessment on Reynolds. He's not a bad actor, he's just been saddled with three bad comic book movies. Now the opposite of that trajectory could be Chris Evans (also a hit-and-miss actor), who was the only good casting decision for the horrible FF movies, plus he made a pretty good…
Both were at the height of their attractiveness in that movie, especially Larson.
I remember when Shakedown used to be in heavy rotation on cable. Probably been 25 years since I've seen it last. Huggy Bear made for a decent villain.
He was so great in that role too.
Best comic book movie casting decisions of all time:
1. J.K. Simmons - JJ Jameson
2. Christopher Reeve - Superman
3. Thora Birch - Enid Coleslaw
4. Sam Elliot - Thunderbolt Ross
5. Michael Clarke Duncan - Kingpin
6. Gary Oldman - James Gordon
7. Robert Downey Jr - Iron Man
8. Heath Ledger - Joker
9. Ron Perlman -Hellboy

Pretty much every day at work, when someone leaves the office, I put on my best Powers Booth voice and say, "Well…bye"
My wife always thought he was hot. Honestly, I can see why.
