Eric Lyden: I think you're referencing the Avengers arc when the Masters of Evil took over the mansion. That wasn't part of the "Acts of Vengeance" crossover, it took place a year or so earlier..

A+ and C+ for me

"Acts of Vengeance" was all setup and no payoff. If I remember right, did any of the villain crossovers actually work? Punisher outwitted Doctor Doom, Trapster kind-of beat Spiderman, who then won anyway because of the Captain Universe deus ex machina, then Spiderman beat "Fixer" Hulk with said new superpowers. Did

Yo dawg, I heard you like government conspiracies, so we put a conspiracy in your conspiracy while you were conspiring

Agreed. I think the best option would have been to kind of "reboot" the show with the two new leads, and just put Scully and Mulder in the past. But then we would have never gotten the horrible "I Want To Believe" movie with the crappy "we're on a boat!" ending.

Mine too, I have a 6 and 10 year old that live and breathe Minecraft, same with all their friends. It became this year's "dugout chatter" during the summer baseball season, replacing the previous years' subjects of Pokemon and Skylanders.

Parts of it were hokey as all get out. The scene of Keith getting gunned down for example, only way that could have been worse (or better) is if he would have died by laser-blast (it was in the future after all).

That "Leagues Big Show" banner ad has got to go. Every damn page I open on this site starts the video all over again. "My dream…is to… be in a big band"

That "variation" for Walks sounded a lot like Hamill's Joker voice.

Seinfeld used to get whupped in the ratings by Home Improvement, at least in the first few seasons. Guess we all know who won in the end, though.

I was thinking more like ANY car, speeding or not, coming from the direction of a remote drug compound would be suspect and pulled over. Also, how did the cops know what was going on out there in the middle of nowhere? I suppose Walt called and tipped them off to it's location?

Bake him away, toys

What are the odds he didn't get pulled over by the cops on his way out? They seemed to come down that same road not too long after he took off.

That poor guy never could get a Madman movie actually produced. Seems like forever ago when it was optioned by Universal, then forgotten about, then resurrected by Robert Rodriguez, then forgotten again.

If it weren't for the awkward pederast scene, Kikujiro would be a pretty good family movie

Made me laugh when I saw the trailer. My kids preferred the "tacodile" pun more, though.

Fireworks was the first Kitano movie I watched. Still one of his best. Violent Cop was okay, but felt been-there-done-that by the time I got around to it, even though it came out first.

This might be my favorite comment of the day

First time I saw them live, they opened for Helmet along with Orange9mm, and I thought nothing could top that show. Then a year or so later, Quicksand came back as the headliner, with Sick Of It All and the aforementioned O9mm opening. THAT show could not be topped.

Both were wise purchases
