So will this be season 3? I really liked Season 2, and in some ways I feel like I don't want this to be season 3, and want them to explore new territory.

The entire sequence with the escape from the Karaboudjan, into the ocean, onto the desert dunes, and finally seeing the mirage of the pirate ship and showing what happened on it is some of the most thrilling visuals I've seen in movies the last few years. The rest of the movie including the escape from the Castafiore

I loved the comics, and the movie really worked, though Haddock was a bit more kid-friendly than necessary maybe. Then again, the way they dealt with his drinking was pretty clever.

The "F" in an acronym for sure means "Fucking", no matter what. No way that's a kid's movie!

I blame the Clinton email investigation.

I think everyone's out on the hoverboards playing Snapchat! Or whatever kids do!

Tintin. And it delivered.

Hook brought in $13M in 1991 dollars its first weekend and ended up with $118M. This is his biggest flop since 1941 (in terms of expectations/budget), I think.

The marketing was terrible, as is that title. Haven't seen it yet, but I don't think the quality of the movie is to blame.

Considering that's exactly who wrote them, I think it's more like they're not trying hard enough NOT to sound like that.

"there's no trick to keeping third parties from gaining power"

I agree mostly with your view of the power of Congress (as do most politically interested people I assume), but your dismissal of the importance of the presidency is odd.

It's almost as if UltraModerate doesn't know about vetoes, for starters.

Or it could be a comedy that is not a Purge movie but seems like it is! Like the one that came out a little while ago, "Meet The Blacks"(?), the trailer for which ran before the Purge: Election Year trailer in theaters, which was really confusing.

I almost fucking cried just seeing the title of that parade video. I love sportsball.

None of this is remotely true. OK I take that back: this possibly is a cheap exploitation movie.

I've liked her ever since she made out with Sung Hi Lee in a super brief scene in "Nurse Betty". For some reason that had a big impact on me.

Unfortunately, even PLANNING a crime is illegal. So unless you also do the planning on purge day, they can get you for it…
Otherwise, fool proof plan.

She's excellent.

The show is great right now. And I think all the correspondents are nailing it.
