Well, REAL Americans are!

She was excellent, and I really liked the whole movie - except the songs, which were standard singer/songwriter fare without anything special to them, which almost sunk the entire premise of the movie. Other than that it was very good.

The treatment of Magneto in the end was really the movie's biggest, and weirdest, flaw to me. Charles just goes "I guess we'll have to agree to disagree again, bye old chap, behave yourself" when in fact Magneto should be thrown in prison and never let out again (just like in other movies).

"I could just kick back and watch a solid X-Men movie with everyone
using their superpowers and teaming up against an outright villain, and
an even better Quicksilver sequence than the last one."

Yeah but that was a damn good scene that injected the movie with a great burst of energy just when it needed it. So while it wouldn't have impacted the plot, it would've impacted the movie.

I don't actually agree with most of what you wrote, but I love long and thoughtful posts here, so upvoted for that. :)

Whatever flaws this movie had (I happened to think it was entertaining enough), Eisenberg wasn't really one of them. He didn't really play Lex Luthor as we know him maybe, but at least he did SOMETHING with the role. Certainly more memorable (in a mostly good way) than anyone else was in this movie.

Maybe he had a coupon?

Me too. For the same reason.

We hide it in Jack Daniels bottles.

Well, someone took the picture.

Is it really a good idea for the fattest candidate in recent history to
show he's eating fast food? Then again, his weight hasn't been an issue
so I guess it doesn't matter. Come to think of it, NOTHING seems to
matter when it comes to Trump.

Yeah but then he's also a white (apparently creepy) dude, so… it evens out?

Seared into the brain!

iddqd is another memory for me.

I am not a gamer at all, but I was tempted to get the new Doom only because the original Doom is one of only two games ever that I actually finished.
Then I remembered that I can't play FPS games because it makes me physically ill. :(

I have like at least a dozen Chinese transformers at home already, what's the big deal?

"Bull in an America Shop" Wait, that's not a movie title. But it's a PITCH!

Can't wait for the scene where Johnson walks barefoot across broken glass, and we get a close-up of the glass getting pulverized into sand under his feet without him even noticing.
